eres the story:

I have a Microtech LCC Manual action, and the screws are stripped on it.

I call microtech, and they say blah blah blah we have to put the screws in here... and to ship it costs 10 dollars USD, and i have to pay shipping. TO us canadians, ten bucks is quite a bit, and i would rrather be spending it on a new knife, i keep telling microtech that i have the torx drivers, and it would be easy for everyone, she just says "we do this everyday", I bet they do, but i really dont want to send my knife out, wait the 2 weeks from microtech, then the 10000light years for canada customs, just to get spme screws put in!!!!
Does anyone know a way i can just get some screws that will fit my lcc instead of sending my knife?

Look at some local hardware stores or a machine shop. There are micro screws available. I don't know what size MT uses, but I would think it is a 4-40, 4-48, or 2-56 fine thread. You just have to cut them to size using a pair of wire stripping pliers that have screw cutters in them. then file them down to exact size or use a Dremel to do it. I've got a good supply of all types of microscrews just for situations like this.

i should have added this:

the screws are the ones that hold the cf scale material, those screws... im gonig to call around, theyre called microscrews?

eew,

yeash i have a supplier in my province... now i just need to find a size....

theyyre the screws that hold the scales on, so would any of these fit the bill?

Just take the knife with you and ask to see the diferent sizes and try screwing one in. You should be able to tell if it is a fit or not.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes!:D
