I really enjoy the Case Holiday Image knives

but they can be hard to find. It seems that most knife sites don't carry them, or they carry a few. I wonder why-maybe they just don't sell, or do serious knife cllectors turn up their noses.

I don't know, but I think the Christmas, and July 4th and Halloween and Thanksgiving knives are neat.

Do you have many? Let's seem 'em. :p

I have a few Christmas, one July 4th and I just ordered a Halloween. Let me see if I can post one:

I would not say that I turn my nose up at them, but I am definitely not drawn to the holiday theme in a knife. I love collecting Case, but I would not buy any of those. I am sure the market dictates as to what Case produces. I will leave that business to them. I do enjoy those pictures you have, they are very colorful.

I like the Halloween ones. I usually carve ol' Jack with the newest one each year, and this years Halloween Texas Toothpick will be doing the same.

I'm going to guess that these knives are re-scaled by another company.

I think those are factory scales. I've seen other patterns with the exact same scales (stars on the shield side and stripes on the other) for sale on Case distributors web sites. There is a Grand Daddy at xxcutlery I was looking at recently.

Uhhh.....and you would guess incorrectly. These are special editions done by Case. I have a 4th of July Cheetah. It's jigged colored bone.

As far as finding them goes, you need to stay current on Shepherd Hills Cutlery. www.casexx.com

Case Knife Outlet will also have lots of inventory of Case, but their website isn't quite as good. www.caseknifeoutlet.com

And then there's Knifeworks. www.knifeworks.com

All three are great companies, but Shepherd Hills has the most info and it the most up-to-date on Case news.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong:o I made this guess because several years back there was a company re-scaling Case knives with all kinds of exotic acrylic scales. There was a misunderstanding between CASE and the customers when warranty issues arose.

Frost Cutlery is still doing that.
