The more I use this knife, the more I like it. It has a great blade profile and the handle just fits my hand.

For an EDC Busse, its the best yet for me. I've tried them all.

Doubt it.

But there were so many different special editions that I picture them not being that hard to find, especially if you post it in the want to buy section.


I use it as an EDC as well, small and thick :thumbup:

I used it to start a fire today too, those notches really fling the firesteel :D

You might be able to pick one up at a show. They seem to come and go in waves on the exchange. It was dry for a little while then in the span of a few days a hand full of them popped up. If you want one right now I'm pretty some of the dealers on the exchange have a bunch of em.
 
I've had my Satin SAR 3 for several months and use it as EDC. Once it was resharpened by Busse, its been my all use and carry EDC. Its a perfect size and has a great balance. It also keeps a fine edge. For camping I take this along with my BWM, great pair. You should find a few on the forum. Ask the seller if its been re-sharpened or if its an inspection 11. If it is, you should get a good price and then send it back to Busse to have it reprofiled.
 
I carry my SAR3 most of the time, it feels very good in my hand plus its a Busse! Definately a great design.
 
The SAR3 is overall shorter, shorter handle, but has a slightly thicker blade. Both feel good in the hand. Sorry the crappy phone pics

The SAR3 is genius. Oddly enough the other SAR models ergo's don't work for me. Well... except for the SAR 5 which was another stroke of genius from the mind of Jerry Busse (even if it's creation was a bit of a mishap).

Still... I carry the SAR3 on a regular basis.

I picked a SAR 3 up in a trade a few weeks ago. So far I like it but it will be going back to the spa for a little work, and a custom sheath so I can make it my EDC.
 
I edc mine in a BB kydex pocket sheath right next to my wallet, which I carry in the front pocket where I can always see it. That gives me something to pull out instead if I am forced to reach for my wallet. In this pic it is partially drawn just so it is visible, otherwise it is totally concealed. The S5LE sees alot more action on a daily basis though since I almost always have both and is quicker to get to.
The Surefire is always there too, but Zilla is just posing for this shot, not an edc. :p

SAR 3 was my first Busse, have two now, want a third. I love how it feels in your hand, just very comfortable to hold and use.
 
I have 2 and I use them both,,Perfect EDC ,If they arnt on my belt the GW is on it for the heavier work loads I put them through.
