Well Goose I lost Rosie Dorado for real this time.Went offshore
late due to having first grandson. Got out there and Rosie was not
in her sheath.Called the base, the helicopter, looked in truck no luck.
She is gone this time.I should have been more careful.
How did Herman say it darn, darn, darn,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:grumpy:
Jeff

Jeff...that is real drag :(
Do you think you neglected to snap it in the sheath or did the sheath snap fail?
When was the last time you recalled it being on ya before you noticed it was missing?
What a drag to lose such an awesome knife...
Now your avatar with it is a memorial.

I had her out cleaning my fingernails at the base, before going to the heliport.
I might not have snapped it good .I don't know.I called the dispatcher to look in his truck he said it was there.i called the heilcopter pilot and they looked for it at the next stop. They said it was not there. So I sure somebody
got a free Buck Rose Dorado.I even looked all over in my truck no Rosie.
:barf:

Jeff,,,

You ever fondeled a full grown Alpha folder? I guess yours was a folder?

Hi Jeff,

Sorry to hear of your loss. I know Rosie's sister. You remember she has a darker complection than Rosie. I think she told me that Rosie was a twin....So you better go and pick her up....before she is spoken for.

Thanks JB. It was my own falt. It happened once before.I can't blame anyone but myself.I guess I will have to look up her sister.I did not know she was a twin. Did you go fishing yet?I haven't seen any pic.

Jeff

I played with a Rosie at BP a few weeks ago and it just didn't fill up my hand right. I want a knife that extends out the bottom of my fist enough to where my little finger still grips it, or more.

AnyWho... shoot me an email when you get back onshore.

Hi Jeff,

Last summer I cut all the trees back away from the bank. Those willows were about 60' tall and the branchs sat in the water...good cover for the crappie. Well those trees are about 10' tall now with no cover for the crappie...and no crappie:confused: :o :( .

My tree cutting changed the fishery in my space of shore line.....the crappie moved out but the Bass moved in :D .
