I've had the original version for probably over a year now and it truly is an amazing budget knife. I just went on kershaw guy and bought a black one and I plan on buying the G10 version and the tanto black washed version when they come out. I hate bead blasting so that version is out and I don't really care about the Cryo 2 because I like the size of the original better.

What do you guys think of the Cryo?

Pictures would be really cool I'll start.

Great design and even better price. Would LOVE a premium blade steel version someday. I installed a carbon fiber scale on mine and love the look and the weight reduction, so the G10 version should be popular.

I have the black one. It went back to Kershaw to get a sharpening, new thumbstud, and new pocket clip. Its been a work beater for a while so Im excited to get it back and see how it looks all cleaned up. I don't have many good pictures of it. I also plan to pick up the G10 and wouldn't mind getting my hands on a Cryo II sometime.

I didn't much care for mine. Nothing in particular wrong with it, it was just a little heavier than I like and I already had other knives in the same size range that worked for me better.

It was certainly a great bargain for the quality, though. I ended up gifting it to a nephew who seemed quite pleased.

I don't care for it, personally, just a bad combination of heavy and small for my taste. Glad to hear you guys are happy with it, though, just because it's not for me doesn't make it a bad knife!

Might wanna check out the G10 model when it comes out it should be about an ounce lighter.

Understandable I often grab for my Mini Griptilian first because it's the same size, but so much lighter.

I have always looked at the cryo, bet never bought it. When it comes out in g10 I'll pick one up.

I'm really excited about the G10 stonewashed version, but I'm also really excited to see the blackwashed versions as well.

Pretty good value for the money, but I found it a little chunky for the size. Solid built no doubt , but after a few months of carry I just couldn't warm up to it. Had to put a lanyard on mine because it was like a fight with the devil to get it out of my pocket. I always seem to gravitate to the mini grip when I leave the house.

I absolutely love my Cryo. I think Kershaw and Hinderer really knocked this one out of the park! My wife had a G10 scale made for it last year and it makes the knife even better, IMO. I'm a big fan of this sturdy, little blade and will definitely pick up one of the blackwash tantos.

I love my original , run of the mill Cryo!! I like a knife that has presence. Weight is great for the size as far as I'm concerned.

I've never really been concerned about weight when it comes to knives. I went from EDCing the relatively light Blur to the ZT0566 and didn't notice the wright difference whatsoever. My only beef with the Cryo was that it had no grip, so that's why I am looking forward to the G10 model.

The Cryo is a very good knife for the price. Only downside are the budget steel and the weight. I love the frame lock and the flipper with the assisted opening. I will be interested in the G10 handle as well.
