Hello all. Basically I am on the never ending hunt for my first Large Sebenza 21 that I ever owned. It was a large Sebenza 21 with Micarta Inlays, a polished blade, and all silver hardware.
It's birthdate is Oct. 13, 2011 and when it was sold it was sold complete with everything. I tried to play detective and find out where it went but unfortunately my trail went cold. If anyone has it or knows where it is I am willing to buy them any new Sebenza of their choosing in return for the knife, or good ol' cash as well. It would mean the world to me to find this particular knife and I will know it when I see it.
I sold it here on Blade Forum or possibly on J.D a looong time ago so I know that it is owned by someone that at frequents the forums. This was not my first Sebenza but my first 21 and it means all the more as it was purchased for me by my younger brother that no longer is with us. Thank you all so much for all of your help and I hope to hear back from someone in the near future. Take care and please help me bring this Sebbie back to it's original home. All the best,
Ryan
After digging through three computers and about 6 flash drives I found picks of it and I magnified them as much as possible and there is NO slash mark on the micarta scales, I swore there were but I have owned at least 6 of these and there are NO slash marks present on the micarta inlays.

I either sold it here on B.F or on J.D. but it was so long ago I just can't recall... After looking through 3 old computers and about 6 flash drives, I found PICS !!!! They are crappy, but should do the job. And thanks so much everyone for your help, I really appreciate it more than words could ever say... After looking at the pics and blowing them up as big as possible in Windows "Paint" it appears there are NO slash marks in the micarta. Thank you so much everyone. If we can find this beauty and bring her home I will literally be jumping for joy, and a new Sebenza of their choice to whomever has it and gets it back to me, PLUS and a finder's fee as well :) (it has to end up in my ownership though, lol)

Do you know the user name you sold it to? How far were you able to track it? What is your JD user name?

The most distinct thing about this knife is the combo of polished blade and micarta. They don't make too many of those. Good luck with the search. If you cannot find the knife, keep in mind you can get CRK to do engraving above the lock bar on a new knife. You could pay tribute and remberance of your brother that way. Wouldn't be the same, but might be fitting.

Stay well

Good luck in your search, Sir. If I find it there will be no fee for its safe return to you. There are some things a man doesn't do for money...;-)

Hello Wolfe,
GREAT detective skills. I contacted BOTH members and they swore that they never purchased the knife so it was a dead end for me :(

With that thread, you have a time period. Perhaps a mod could get you a copy of your pm's from then. Maybe check your email from then as well.

Best of luck!

Also, check your paypal history to see who paid you for it, unless you traded it.

I just went and looked at every payment I received going back to 2012. Unless you took a money order, you have the name of your buyer. Go find it!
