But I went a little overboard and ended up with THREE

And to make matters worse....

...two of them are pretty special!!

I was lucky enough to find someone unloading their Emerson collection and these three just happened to be part of those up on the chopping block. All three have pristine edges and early lockup. A little bit of wear in some of the finishes and no boxes, but nothing I'm gonna complain about!

I was almost convinced I'd never find ONE for myself, let alone THREE and a Vines and Roses edition for that matter!!! And WOW - for those of you wondering if the CQC-12 is as nice and solid as it looks - IT IS!! Really fills the hand well and zero play in any direction. Great design, great knife!!

Sorry - I don't want to brag but I gotta for a minute.

In truth - I most likely won't keep all 3, but I don't know that I can decide which I'd like to keep more...

For those of you experts - fill me in on the Vines and Roses. I've read there were only about 20 made (in 2012) but in all my googling I haven't come across any with the satin finish. I'm wondering just how rare that one may be?

Couple more pics:

Alright - that is all for now. Carry on

OK, I can't get too jealous! I got a CQC-12 myself. But your instant collection is beautiful :D

If you ever decide to unload one of those vines and roses 12's. Do not hesitate to contact me. I'll buy it in a heart beat.

I'd be very interested in the normal version if you decide to keep the collectible versions. :D

My God man! That is an excellent way to go overboard. You did it the right way. I'd love one of those...someday. ;)

That satin blade is nice.

I'm new to Emerson knives, is the locking side basically just a thick locking liner for a side? What about the other side, does it have a scale and a liner or is it just a big thick side?

The skulls & roses with the satin plain blade is outstanding!
