I recently completed my first knife

It's 1085 steel, the scales are maple. It's not head treated as I've got no way to do that around me. I'm very proud and already working on my second knife.
 
Great first effort. I think you should post this in the shop talk section (link below). You'll get helpful feedback there. You know it's not much of a knife without being heat treated. There are places where you can send a blade to be properly heat treated if you don't have the equipment to do it yourself. Otherwise, the shape looks pretty nice. I'd try to make curves a bit smoother. You seem to have a peak in the belly part of the edge. It's hard to see the details of the handle but rounder edges will be more comfortable in the hand. Also, take a look at the way more experienced builders make their blade bevels. Yours are very shallow. Do some research, ask lots of questions, and post your plans and drawings in the Shop Talk section so you can get the guidance you need before building the next one.
