A few weeks ago I bought three knives that I have wanted to try, for quite some time.
Pendleton Mini Hunter, Pendleton Hunter, and the Master Hunter. The knives will be going with me bow hunting this season.
I have big hands, but still prefer my hunting knives around 7" overall length. I find I get better control and feel, working on an animal with a smaller knife.
So, unboxing the Mini Hunter, I immediately liked the knife. Same way with the Master Hunter, even though in all honesty I will probably not use it much.
The Pendleton Hunter is the knife I am having troubles bonding with. I love the blade shape, and the handle fits my hand nicely, but it just feels out of proportion for some reason. Maybe if I actually used it in the field, I would have a different opinion.
Anyone else noticed this with the Pendleton Hunter ? My first impression on knives usually doesn't change, but I'm really trying to like this knife.
