A few years ago I was sitting in my office at church and, instead of doing what I should be doing, I was reading through Bladeforums.

I found someone, somewhere talking about one of Andy's knives. I was intrigued. I discovered this forum and read a bunch. It just so happened that it was at a time early on when Andy was struggling and had posted about needing ideas for different venues to sell his knives.

So I called him.

The guy on the other end of the phone was a great guy. We talked things out and I became Andy's first dealer (I think).

From that day on, we have worked together. I have enjoyed every minute of it. Andy has always been fair--more than fair with me. His knives have helped my business and I think I have been a help to him. It has been great.

I just wanted to say, "Thanks" to Andy and that I am looking forward to many more years selling your knives.

Good to see you Derrick. I missed out on the BRKT Recluse, but I have managed to get a few of Andys knives since and enjoy using them immensely.

When Derrick said he was interested in carrying my knives was a turning point. Had that not happened, this business wouldn't have worked. Thankfully, it did happen, and it has been a great relationship for Fiddleback Forge. Thanks for all your support Derrick. I hope you've shaken off the July's and are back to moving a mountain of cutlery!
