I rescued a Coon...a Colonel Coon!

I rescued this feller out of an old toolbox that belonged to my wife's granddad. Upon investigation, it was given to him by his son-in-law (my wife's dad) in the early to mid '80s...I think.

I don't know much about the brand, but it's a nice knife. Fat stag. Walks and talks well. Still has lots of life left. Plus, it has a raccoon holding a cane on the shield. :)
 
Cool! Not a brand that gets a lot of press around these parts, but that's a great looking knife. Good on you for giving a new lease on life.
 
Looks like the man prefered one of the blades.

Those are good knives.
 
Nuthin bettern a real Tennessee slip joint... That's a nice find! Like that coon with the cane!
