With Greg leaving I would like to nominate Hoodoo as moderator for this forum. I believe that he has shown himself to be knowledgable in wilderness skills and has shown guidance to the newer members. Hoodoo has also displayed the wisdom, common sense and respect for others that I feel is essential for a good moderator to possess.

Take care,
Chad

Well said, Chad. I couldn't agree more.

I agree. Hoodoo has been an asset to this group.

With my own gang of 6 hundred and sumtin to take care of over in the Hoodlums board I find it difficult to do more than drop in each night to watch the goings on.

Hoodoo would be a great choice.

Others?

Wow! The past couple of weeks have been pretty stressful at work and half the time I don't know whether I'm coming or going. I've been running on about 4 hrs sleep per night. Anyway, this thread really caught me by surprise. It's nice to know that in that anonymous world out there called the internet you can make friends with people that you've never met personally. I appreciate your vote of confidence (even though it's probably misplaced

). But I also want to say that there are many others here I know would do a great job moderating this forum. In fact, this is the most peacable forum at BF and it almost runs itself. It attracts a truly great bunch of guys. Anyway, thanks again for the kind words. I really appreciate it.

Hoodoo would be great. Another guy who would do well, and has been missed lately, is Plainsman. He's got his own forum now, but he really knows his stuff.

I'm not one for volunteering for anything. I've been able to play on the forum lately because I'm between adventures. Hell breaks loose in April.

Hoodoo does very nicely on four hours sleep, so he has my vote. As they say "all those who don't want to become a moderator take one step back.... HOODOOOO! STAY WHERE YOU ARE,, DON'T YOU MOVE A MUSCLE!"
