I searched and couldn't find a new knife to satisfy me. I bought the csar-t 095 folder despite the steel. All I can say is wow. Its so much bigger than my bravo in every way other than length. These Rocky Mountain g10 scales is so comfortable. This knife shaves right out the box. There is no slip with these handles. Man this knife will never be hard to open w/ gloves. There is huge thumb studs on the blade. Oh well I believe its going to be a pleasure to work with.

The CSAR-T is one of my favorite modern bucks the texture of the Rocky Mounty G-10 handles is awesome and also the blade steel ( paul bos ATS-34) has proven to be very tough while having great edge retention I really love the knife however I don't EDC it to often anymore due to the weight and thickness but I suppose this is just personal preferance.

Oh this is going to be my EDC for the next 2 yrs or more. I like the weight and bulk of it. Was your liner lock a pain in the thumb to close the knife. If so did ya ever get it loosen up? Right now that's the only draw back I've found.

I can't speak for that particular model, but I think you are going to be very pleased with that ATS-34
For me the Buck/BOS heat treat on that steel is one of my favorite blade steels EVER...
Enjoy!

Are you compairing that to the 2 154s crucible has? I'm not debating just wondering. I love the knife thus far.

Not comparing to the 154, just on it's own merit...I have an odyssey on it's 3rd blade of ATS-34...used as a daily work knife for about 15 years...and used hard. For me I find that steel easy to sharpen, and has excellent edge retention.

My 154 is very easy to sharpen and holds an edge well. I don't expect anything less from the ats. Looking forward to see what the steel will do w/ a double grind.
