I saw a multitool that lets you pick & choose what tools you want

$80 is on the pricey side. Unique design at least. I like the idea of being able to switch out tools for what you expect that day. Doesn't SOG do something similar with exchangeable tools?
 
I have the sog powerlock b-61, and yes you can interchange most of the tools. Best multitool I've ever used. And around the $70- $80 range.
 
I like the idea but was turned off by the part that said "some plastic parts". I might see if I can find some reviews on this. It does look rather interesting.
 
You can customize the tools in a SOG up to a point. They sell all the tool blades individually. Long tools only fit on the outside layers on either side of the plier jaws, smaller tools fit in the middle, and some are right or left "handed" so it can be a little challenging to figure out how to fit all the specific tools you want into the handles
 
Looks like a great idea. Has anyone handled one yet?

Hopefully, one day Victorinox will come up with something similar.
