Oh, Lord help us!

A NINJA BEAR THREAD could surpass the "Phantom of the Khukura" thread.

I was standing in. Giri, and all that.

The end is near, Burafan. Prepare to embrace the light.

Do you know what seeing a ghost means?

Most of that is true, except I am an english teacher.
(I do have a job, ya blem box emptying bastards)

you wouldn't believe how hard it is to tell the difference between an unimportant alley cat and one of them fancy cats...

Ninja's: Silent, deadly, bear suit wearing assassins. They float thru the shadows, with only a trail of bear dandruff to mark their passage. Striking suddenly with no warning, except a little clicking of the bear claws, they melt back into the shadows. A large fuzzy suit will be found nearby, with the stealthy naked Ninja having gotten away, unseen. He makes his way back to the safe house, with only a little snickering and giggling coming from the women of the houses he passes, but he is mostly unseen. There to kick back and have a tall, cool one. And start sewing together the next bear suit.

You should practice the Chinese martial arts like myself and you might get here on time ;)

Funnily enough I have a friend who is a 9th dan in the Buj.

Not likely. Big Gaijin ninja, and all that. :D (There's an oxymoron!)

Bex, do you find some similarity in body movement? Saw a Wushu student picking up Koto Ryu QUICK.

Certainly.

There seems to be some debate within the Bujinkan regarding how much Takamatsu's stay in China influenced what he taught.

Burafan, before specter kills you I will tell you more.
The Bujinkan (the name of my martial art school) has no room in it for people without a sense of humour, humility, common sense, etc...
Really, you have no need for concern.
However, I feel I should say that our is not a lost art, and that is one of the reasons it is so special to me.
Like many other ancient schools, it very nearly did die, but fate preserved it and now many of us are learning it and sharing it with the good people in the world.
That is our purpose; To arm with skill and knowledge the good people of the world.

I envy your knapping skills, I never could so that worth a dang.

Send me some chert buddy !
