I saw a pick of wallet that had a pocket slip for a pocket knife all in one.....haven't been able to pinpoint where to buy them though.........I can say that all of ur pics have intrigued me to try some leather work..i don't wanna tackle this project for my first...but I may try some pocketknife slips soon though...but I still wanna find out where to buy the wallet/pocketknife slip for now...any help would be appreciated

Not sure what you may have seen, but Mission wallets have outside pockets that will accommodate a folder. I've also seen one that help a classic SAK. If you are interested in the latter, let me know. I think I have the company info at home.

Cool. Then definitely check out mission wallets. Might be what you're looking for. Worth a try anyway. Let us know if that's the one.

Once upon a time I came across a cheap, Chinese-made, lightweight nylon tri-fold wallet with a velcro closure and an external zippered coin compartment. It measures about 5" wide by 4" high closed. I currently carry a Large CRKT Eros in the coin compartment. It also easily accommodates a Small Sebenza or a 3" XM-18. I put a lanyard on the knife with a bead at the end of the lanyard. Then I extend the bead slightly above the zipper and close the zipper on it. From that point on, the knife all but disappears in my back pocket. Then all I have to do to extract the knife is remove the wallet, unzip the coin compartment, and pull the lanyard.

Even though the wallet was cheap, it shows no signs of tearing or falling apart after a year of constant use. I've searched high and low for it and I can't find it anywhere. If I ever do, I'll buy a box of them and put them up for sale in the gear and gadgets section. It is hands down the best wallet I've come across for carrying a lightweight folder regardless of price.

Go to A.G.Russell's gadgets & gear website www.russellsformen.com and search for "pouch".

I actually use this as my regular wallet, with bills folded in half in the main compartment, with cards tucked in behind them. I keep coins in the small front compartment. I just verified that a Victorinox Farmer fits right in there with the coins.

Here's a nice one that I use. Mission Wallet
