I was at a shop locally looking for a kershaw Torx tool when I came across some old stock REKAT pioneers. I picked the beauty up for sixty five bucks. I am seriously thinking about going back and getting the two that they had left. The guys behind the counter had no idea what a great find they had. They were actually trying to talk me into buying a CRKT m16. They said that if I were looking for a really tough knife that the CRKT was the way to go. I just smiled and left with my new toy.

Yeah, I am really surprised at the find. I would have snatched all of them up but my pay check got messed up and now I will have to wait until next week and hope they are still there. Of course I believe they will be, seeing as how REKAT closed it's doors in 04. Also the shop must have had these knives for a bit because these are the first gen of the pioneer folder. I am not sure of the release date but it's well prior to 04. So no real worries here. Thanks for the comments guys.
