He posted it april 13th with no response after a few days of bumps.

Im trying to find the same answer as I've only had the $10 memebership for 3 months and now trying to upgrade to the $30.

Do they do anything for us?

I'd like a response before I up my membership please.

What are you referencing? What is your question? Can you supply the link to said thread you seem to be mentioning?

Sure thanks for that fast response. It was 3 posts ago here . . ..https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/help-with-prorated-membership.1571234/

Same question here...

I see, there was a similar thread posted April 11th in which you also asked the same question and I ended up giving you the answer that I believe is the correct one, in that you have to pay full price for the gold but if all things work properly the forum should automatically pro-rate the value of the rest of your basic membership into your gold membership's length.

Thanks. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like it worked that way. I just purchased the Gold level and my invoice shows exactly one year from today as expiration date of the Gold. Oh well, fairly inexpensive lesson for my indecisiveness.

My guess is thats why we both show “both” the yellow gold label and the blue basic label where other members only show the yellow. Their system probably picks up on that and extends you for a certain period. At least thats what the responder said in post #5 above.

That's not what is supposed to happen, though, according to Spark Spark it's supposed to be automatic. I guess it's time for you fellows to start separate threads about this issue as it's a different issue than the one in this thread.

Good this is you have a whole year for that value to be credited to your membership, so it's not a huge rush; Spark Spark is on every so often to fix problems.

Disregard... that quoting didn't turn out the way I wanted it

It's not automatic on the pro rate, Spark has to do that manually.

Damn, guess I didn't realize he turned it off, I think I missed Spark's last post about it (which I found here), I was still assuming it was working as intended per the last thread from Spark I remember seeing on the matter (this one). My bad. :(

I'll make sure not to spread the same disinformation in the future.

Both of you are good to go
