In digging in some old postings I found a few pics of your "Moras"..So you My knife toting brethren..tell me ALL about them. Like different manufactors, steel types, handle forms and lastly links to sites or makers that have them. tell me how thick or thin your personal blades are and how stiff or flexible they are. I've already decided to get a few examples to try out on my rig but your opinions are much appreciated. Best to all. Anrkst6973

As far as I know, there used to be two manufacturers Eriksson and Frosts both of Mora Sweden. They come in many varieties and styles. Three Steel types are used. Carbon 1095, Laminated Carbon 1095, and Sandvic Stainless which is 12C27 or 12C27M (not sure which). I have two stainless and two carbon models, and I will have more I am sure. You can google Ragweed Forge. He sells them, but he also has a ton of basic info on the knives and types.
