I should have bought one of these years ago.

The Story:

About two years ago there was a Cherokee Rose on the DOTD that I went to war with myself over. It was available for hours while I argued with myself, then when it was gone I regretted it. Stuck with me to now.

The Resolution:

Yangdu.

How many knives do you know that can dwarf a CGFBM?

I may have to get another one of these.

The CR is quite a knife, I don't regret mine at all.

I really want a CGFBM, but I have a hard time justifying it when I have SO MANY HI blades that flat out dwarf it, and all have been tested HARD (even my CR, which isn't a "work" blade) and proven themselves.

I've got a Cherokee Rose on my list; when our finances look a little better, I'm gonna get one for sure. I love the fact that it straight up humbles that little ol' Busse. :D

thx - cpr

Don't overlook, as if that was possible, the Giant Chitlangi Bowie.

At around 2 foot long and over 3.75pounds these are works of arts in blade making and an awesome blade which radiates power and feels like it could cut thru a mature Californian Redwood Tree with little effort!

And you are not alone in the regrets department ...I too can remember the blades I wish I had purchased rather than some of those which I did.:(

Yeah, if ya think the Rose humbles a FBM, consider how the Chitlangi Bowie humbles the Rose --albeit in size, the Rose is a much more nimble blade and certainly the better fighter of the two.

Mine has a similar spot of honor right next to the shotgun. I have tested mine quite hard for the design. Chopped and slip wood, pounded tent pegs, dug in the dirt, destroyed an old futon:D . It's not as pretty as it was when I first got it. However, it is every bit as sharp and deadly as ever:thumbup:

Nice collection and pictures, thank you
