It is there makers mark, to show they designed it together.

Not sure when they 1st started doing this but but I believe that it is a fairly recent practice; some being marked made individually by Sal/Eric or both.

Of course, this does not include any knives produced by Spyderco but designed by others, like Schempp, Lum, Bradley, etc.

Early Spyderco models (which I believe were mosty, if not entirely, designed by Sal) do not have such markings but it would take some research to figure out exactly when they began doing this, unless Sal would care to comment about it here.

LOL! No explanation needed.

I edit my posts -- some times multiple times -- later for any number of reasons, including mis-spellings, gramatical errors or just piss poor writing.

Glad that BF allows this because some sites don't and it just irks me (as an ex-lawyer) to see things in writing that obviously need correction.
