sure did! i found an old pine stump today and descided to pry off all of the bark and rotted sections to get at the fat wood inside . couldnt find a propper baton to help chisel through the wood so i used a rock . good ole southern sandstone so it wasnt too harsh on the impacts but it did take alot of the finish off . i dont think i ever pried that hard on a knife either and havent worked my bk7 or any other knife that hard in a long long time . the angle i had to work with was crap was what i consider all out abuse of any tool . it done me proud though but now it reeks of pine tar .
