I'm not an expert on CR's fixed blades, but this looks all kinds of wrong to me..

Fake OPR Reeve Knife

EDIT - I did report it, to both Duh-bay and CRK. This was mainly just a heads up.

Dang, they've even got phony-balogny Blade Show award stickers on the box. Impressive!

Chris was right, the fakes are getting better and better as manufacturing quality overseas improves.

Professor.

Another give away, is when the seller describes the blade as "excellent grade stainless steel" but the specs list it as A2. That tells you they copied and pasted the specs, and don't realize that A2 is a tool steel, not a stainless even if it is "excellent grades stainless" what ever the heck that actually means.

Report the sales post as fraudulent.

I just reported it as a fake.

If anyone has Reeve's contact info, might want to send him an email. Most manufacturers appreciate the heads up.

Wow this is just insulting. This guy states the country of origin as China ( which I am sure is true) while the blade says "made in U.S.A". Some poor bastard will buy it though.:(

I reported it as a fake, and emailed the seller and asked him why he is selling this fake. the sick part is he has a 100% rating

That isn't even close to any of the original OPKs in balde shape and finish. It's easy for someone familiar with the one piece knives to see it as a fake, and I'm sure easy for someone who is not to be fooled. :thumbdn:

It is a knock-off of a limited model, cannot recall the name just now. Head scratcher.

It was pulled with no bids. I hope our pressure (I, too reported it to CRK) led to this. As far as calling out ePay on it, I put myself in a bad position once with another brand. All I can do is report such things to the Mfg. (CRK manufacturers forum has a e-mail link for this sort of thing. Stay diligent!
