I spotted a double knock off

The blade is a Jack Crain Predator Machete knock off, but the handle is a blatant Busse rip. I first saw them on eBay, but see that Khukri House is also selling the "Predator EUK Knife" on Amazon and on the their own site.

The knife looks well made, too bad they didn't have the imagination to make something that wasn't borrowed.

I heard the original knife creator makes them by special order. Beware, though, he has a very bad reputation about not delivering paid for goods. I have no first hand knowledge of this, however, if you get the urge to get the real deal, do your research!!

Yeah back in the 80s you could call and talk to Mr. Crain and actually get something you ordered. Last few years though your just throwing your money away if you expect to ever get a knife from him.

i have to disagree. That handle shape has been used before any of us were born, including Jerry. I have kitchen knives with that shape.

I think some folks are looking for boogie men under their bed.

Perhaps they refer to the integral half guard with the hole in it. Have any pre-Busse examples of such a boggie?
