Can anyone tell me the actual blade size for the WWII model? To be honest, I'm still deciding which Khuri to purchase (my first). I've narrowed it down to the 15" AK or the 16.5" WWII model with the villiage finish on either blades. What would you recommend, the AK or the WWII? This would be my go-to-get-out-of-town, mutli-purpose for any situation that might arise knife.

Thanks for your help gentlemen!!

P.S. I have a feeling I'll end up buying more Kuhuris anyway, just like I do with 1911s

When I bought my first I went with a 17.5 inch CAK (Chiruwa Ang Khola) and I could not be happier. If your looking for a heavy user buy your chosen model in a villiager finish. That way you won't be as sad when the polish starts getting scuffed.

Either of those will be great. Pick the one you like the looks of best. My first was a WWII, FWIW. I kinda wonder if I would have been happier with a CAK though.

While every khuk is different, barring the differences in blade shape, balance, and fuller/no fuller, the 15" AK and the 16.5" WWII will probably have pretty close to the same blade length. The WWII's tend have a bit longer handle than the AKs.

However, since every khuk is a special little snowflake it's not unheard of to find AK's with longer handles than WWII's as well;)
As a first time khuk, the 15" AK is tough to beat. Besides, like you said, you're going to buy more than one;)

Are they the same price? If not get the cheaper one to see just how much you like khukris. I have a WWII and there will be an M43 with my name on it in the mail shortly.
