I still think a custom collaboration would be a great idea. for SOG. (and me too)

The last time I posted this notice, Ron said that Spencer did all of the designing. Now, while I am not debating Spencer's talent, there is a lot of other talent out there to be had. Just look at Spyderco. There are many custom colaboration that helped make them what they are today. And, yes, I believe Sal did all of the initial designing. It would also bring more notoriety to SOG's name because they could associate it with a well-known knife maker. It would have introduce a wider variety of high quality knives.

One never knows what the future holds, but for the moment, I don't think a knife designing partnership is in the near future. To date, we have been very happy with our growth rate and don't measure our success by the size of other companies.

We have had design input in the past, including Blackie Collins on the AutoClip and the ParaTool as well as David Yellowhorse on the special edition version of the ParaTool bearing his name.
