I Stripped Her..Then Treated Her to Some Wine

So I stripped her..then treated her to some wine, after having her for a while and some free time. Stripping came out nice using the Kleen Strip in a can. I then decided on a light patina of soy sauce and curry powder (dont drink and patina), but wanted something a little darker. So I went into my wifes DO NOT TOUCH area and borrowed some red wine vinegar. 45 minutes later..and I'm happy. I only had the Galaxy SII phone on hand for pics so...

I read the title and though it was a new chapter in the "50 Shades of Grey" (LOL)
 
Doesn't the sequence work the other way around? Wine then strip? But I like ur style!
 
Looks nice. I have been thinking about a patina for my BK2. I may just have to get off my butt and do it now.

That depends on the Becker that ur stripping. Some (2/5/7/9) like to get straight to business lol !

Thanks, once you start modding, its hard to stop..thats why Im sitting here mixing mustard and whatever else I can find (steal) before my wife gets home.. to attempt a camo (yeah right lol) patina.

Thanks ! RogueBowie..one of my friends got beat up because he was told by his much larger brother to stop singing that damn addictive (annoying) song..he didnt listen and POW..right in the kisser..among other things..he should have listened when we told him to shutup lmao !

Looks great. I'm getting ready to strip my BK-2 and give patina a try. I've heard you can use gun Perma Blue on a knife. Has anyone worked with this or better yet has a pic. Does Perma Blue protect for rust better than a patina?

+1 . Thats why my bk15 is untouched. I'm about to head out and find some pcb etchant at the shack and experiment with that over a pirate decal i fashioned on the bk2. Next up being stripped..the bk11 ! Trying my hand at some micarta (denim & od fatigues) on Friday.
