Hi everyone,

I am leaving saturday and heading to Disney World for two weeks. I will be without forum access for the whole time(you call that a vacation?..Sounds more like a nightmare!!

I lived through that same nightmare twice last year.

This year I invested in a Laptop and it saved my vacations (not to mention my relationship with my girlfriend).

No screaming and yelling, no irritability, no breaking things......... thats a vaction!

Most hotels now offer computer services. You should be able to rent a PC and check up on us.

Mike, thanks for the invitation. I wish I could. You would be my home away from home, my little piece of BFC. Unfortunately, I am going with my sister, brother inlaw, girlfriend and my son; and there would be no way for me to convince 3 non-knifers(even though my son is only 5 he alreay loves knives) to deviate from schedule to visit a crazy knife lovin bastid like you

Check to see if they have an Internet Cafe, Louis. You can find them just about everywhere now. Last summer in Ireland we would stop in, my wife would e-mail the kids and I'd check out Bladeforums. Don't worry. I'm a good Dad. I'd make sure my wife would say "hi" to them for me.

I'll be there on your second week. Even though I live an hour away, I only go once a year so I won't get bored. Don't forget the Pleasure Island area, and if you can spring for the tickets, La Nouba is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. By the way, most of our public libraries have comps with internet access. You may not be able to reply, but at least you could read.
 
Disney World you say? Have a fun time there!

We go down every other year as our big family vacation! Love it there!

I hope its not too late, but I just came back from Disney 09/17/00 It is a knife freindly enviornment including Universal studios. So defend yourself a little better and sleep well. Make sure you visit Universal the rides and shows are improoved over some of Disneys.

Well just wanted to let you know I took the LCC, Emerson commander, and a Mini-Socom. They all had fun. The Mini had the most fun I think. I tried to get them a picture with Mickey but....only kidding.

I am spending the first couple of days at a friends house and have access to the forums(thank the gods)

This is my first time back in florida since I was a little boy. Strange place this florida. Now I know why Mike Turber is so weird

I am so use to the upstate NY scenery, I feel like I am in an episode of "Land Of The Lost" Nothin but palm trees and lizards.(I do like lizards, though.) I spent the first day catching lizards for my son. Does anyone know what kind of lizards these are? They are small, with narrow heads and mostly brown in color. They do not look like skinks, anoles or geckos, but I could be wrong.

Well, I just wanted to say hello. I'll talk to you all soon. I hope the forum does not fall apart, being that I am not there. Are you guys gonna be ok without me?

By the way do you know Kevin L. Hoffmann! great guy makes cool knives, lives in Orlando too.

one question I want to ask you. After the two weeks, how do you get updated? I mean it is nearly impossible to read through all the postings of two weeks. A nightmare that is facing me too in the near future.

Lou - Let me known what you do to keep sane presuming you are! - I'll be going off to Myrtle Beach in October and then on for a cruse to the Bahamas - anyone know of knife shops in Freeport? - the idea and plan of my mother-in-law! You try to have fun .. and let me know how !
