HI make a copy of the old Cephas Ham Bowie knife, or a Hudson Bay Camp Knife.
Put a 10-12 inch blade on it, about 1/4" thick. I believ the Kamis would do old Rezin Bowie very proud.

BTW, how are you today? I'm feeling a bit tired, sore, sarcastic, jaded, and cynical.
But, other than that, I'm good. I have my health, job, family, friends, and this forum. Life is good. I can't wait for my Bonecutter, C bit, and Tamang to come in. I'm ready to slice, chop, split, and carve some rebellious wood and hedges.

I'd like to see what the other HI forumites think of this design. Let's see if we can get some interest brewing.
I'd also like to find out how much it would cost me to get one.

A blade length of 12-14 inches would suit me just fine, and would probably be more technically correct for this knife. A blade that wide should be LOOOONG, too. Don't ya think?

Actually, the top one. I tried to post pics of that one and the one that was under it at that website.
I don't like the one with the guard as much, it's not true to the Hudson Bay Camp Knife design.
