...when I bought myself a Spyderco dragonfly. Im the traditional slipjoint kind of man. Have a delica I use seldom and a calypso jr I use even more rare and a big and a small Benchmade AFCK I almost never use. Still there the fly was, on half the price, 250 skr, (around 30 dollars) And I couldnt resist it. Small enough for the fifth pocket and a FRN molded clip for the occations I want to do that. The blade was/is AUS 8. I think this knife has some years at its neck on the shelfs of that store. I have newer used that steel before but is under the impression I get a steel easy to make shaving sharp but doesnt last very long, expecting a little better than True sharp mabye like sandvik 12c27.
Anywhay I hope to carry it as a secound knife to my slipjoint, if I can work up the steem to carry 2 knifes again, otherwise I has bought myself somthing to ceep the socks company.

The dragonfly is a great little knife. it's my go to blade for when i can't carry something larger. if it's got an AUS8 blade then it is a few years old, they have been using VG-10 for quite some time for the dragonfly. AUS8 is an adequate steel but i prefer other steels myself. i don't want to tempt you into spending more money but the new version of the dragonfly was just released, it has spine and choil jimping and a better pocket clip.
