I received this beauty just minutes ago -

This is my first Ganga Ram, from Yangdu's Dashain DOTD Special, 8/29/08. And here it is, in my hands, after a holiday weekend, no less!

Now, I also have on order from a large distributor a modern Spyderco folder. I ordered that knife on 8/26, and from what I can tell, the thing hasn't even shipped yet. I'm certain that company has a very expensive inventory and shipping tracking system, blahblahblah, but I bet they also don't give a flip for taking care of an order just as fast as possible.

Nobody beats Yangdu and HI for getting orders filled and shipped, right now!

Thanks, HD. I kept remembering how much you like your GR's, so decided to try one out.

I really like the balance on this thing! Came very sharp! I just love those villager models.

I love my "baby" GRS. I put "baby" in quotes because it's still 16.5 inches long. Yours looks like a great one too!

HI's products, service, and people can't be beat!
 
Items I have bought from H.I. arrive here in four days on average, but two have arrived in THREE DAYS.

Three days from Nevada to Ohio is super-fast shipping!

Ain't ya sorry ya waited so long now Andy? How long have I been bragging up and recommending the BGRS to anyone who would listen? ;) :p :D :cool:

LOL, three days is the longest it's taken to get to me. I can usually just count on it getting to me in two days. Nevada to Florida!

Now why it takes 4-5 days on things shipped priority from SC to get here is the real mystery.
 
I ordered my Ang Khola and Karambit on 8/29 and got them today as well. I was very happy and pleased.
Theres no doubt about the quality of customer service from Himalayan Imports, I havent been disappointed.
I plan on getting a Ganga Ram sooner or later, i really like the smooth curve of the spine, I think the Foxy Folly has a similar spine and I want one of those too, lol.
 
Yes, that pic makes me want a ganga ram as well; your eyes just roll right along that spine.

I just emailed Yangdu today, and she shipped today! That never happens elsewhere, at least not to me.... Major props for such incredible service :)

No joking, Yangdu sent off my Chitlangi before receiving my seperate postage payment!!!

Sure it took 6 days ...to get from Nevada to AUSTRALIA!!!

Service unequaled anywhere else in the world!!!
