I started a thread a while back about the need for a medium sized Sebenza. I bought a small 21 micarta and was impressed. The inserts widen it enough to feel secure in the hand and the length is just long enough for comfort in my L sized hands. After much back and forth about whether to go with the 21, 25 or Umnumzaan for a larger choice I decided on the Lg 21 Insingo. It arrived today (Thanks KSF!) and I'm surprised at how small it is. Seems my memory of the ones I owned 10 years ago was corrupted by the Spyderco Ti Mili I've owned for a couple of years. The measurements are right there in black and white if one wants to check but I depended on my defective memory and was thinking the large Sebenza was similar in size. Eurika! Once again, I'm experiencing near perfection in a Reeve design.

The decision between 21 and 25 was not easy. I finally decided classic. One reason is that it is time tested (like me?). The other is for future value. With new designs showing up it may be only a matter of time until the 21 becomes discontinued. I know, blasphemy, but it could happen and old discontinued (if only for the steel type) ones tend to escalate in value.

The other hard decision was which blade to get. I love the CRK tanto design and the normal blade is classic but I'm a wharncliff fan so Insingo it is. My Spyderco Lum tanto is similar to the CRK in size and shape so I don't feel I'm missing too much.
