G'day Andy.

I noticed you are considering the "Bushfinger" for the W&SS custom bushie thread.

For what it's worth, may I "take my hat off to you" for having the confidence to submit an existing Bushcraft designed model for the project

Kind regards
Mick

It was a no brainer. IMHO it is hands down the best bushcraft design on the market. I actually had trouble deciding between it and the Recluse though.

***Sits quietly in the low light of a cloudy early morning, handles the Bushfinger lovingly...turning it over and around in the hands reflecting on several activities from recent weeks***

I know that it has done everything I have asked of it extremely well, from firecraft, food prep, and making tools and utensils. It is hands down the perfect design to suit my needs for a "bushcraft" knife and I couldn't be happier with it.

However, I am looking forward to seeing how much I like the Recluse too. I have been eyeballing it since the naming thread. Although I might just ask if it can be made guardless like the Bushfinger. That's definitely a plus in my style of food prep with fresh greens, vegetables, herbs, and meat... and food prep is an important aspect of a bushcraft knife for me personally...though I can not speak for everyone. I am often told I am ...somewhat "unique"...(my word not there's lol)
