It's not here yet. I just paid less than an hour ago. It's still in the shop and might ship this afternoon or tomorrow. There's no sheath waiting for it yet (thermoplastic being chosen over leather for pocket carry).

It's a Muddy Howling Rat LM pocketknife! I'm so jealous of myself that I'm green with envy. :D

Congrats on the new knife. Where and how did you get one of these? I thought maybe they were on the company store website so I went there to buy one, and there wasn't a pic or any info. Did you have it made up custom for you?

First, I went to www.swamprat.com and saw pics from Knob Creek which showed them. Then, I sent an email to Eric and begged him to sell me one. Eric told me that the knives might be at his boss's husband's place. I sent emails and called a few times. Next, Amy-0 sends me an email telling me the knife is available and its price with shipping. Finally, I called her and bought the knife.

Six easy steps.

It is possible that if there are leftovers, they'll be offered at the company site. It is up to you to get yours by hook or by line and sinker (we frown on crooks).
 
Thom saw what he wanted and he started asking questions how to get one, I provided a little help and he did the rest

Not to snipe or nuttin, but I DID see one on some auction site today if anyone was interested.

I was surprised at hte "black"ness of my black micarta one. (Altho why does black micarta always smell of wet cardboard???) So I'm gonna defer on that. I'd be afwaid to USE the muddy one. ;)

Thanks, THEGRATENATE! Mighty nice of you. The sheath is on its way. The knife was from Wauseon and the sheath is from Krestwood. It should be hear Monday, Tuesday, or some other day with a y.
