What is this "walk and talk" that you speak of?While I am at it,what is the "1 through 10 rating" pull thing? Is 1 good or bad? Thanks

Walk and Talk is basically the action of the knife opening and closing...walk=opening( then you gauge for yourself as to how smooth that is ), talk is the "snap" for when the blade is opened at the end of its extension-or the closing snap back within its frame.

The pull is rated out of ten as to just how hard the blade is to "pull" out from the frame...some can be nail breakers which would rate the blade to be nearer the ten.
I hope this helps.

While not complete by any means AAPK has a very good glossary of pocketknife terminology.

I believe this site could do with some stickies explaining terms that are unfamiliar to beginning collectors/ users that are new to a subforum. Acronyms and such that are used in the knife community specifically could be listed, but simple, internet wide acronyms like IMHO or LOL only need to be googled, and would create unnecesary clutter in the knife terminology sticky.
