Yep, you've got a problem. You've also got good taste in knives.

Welcome to the asylum. Feel free to mingle with the other inmates.

Welcome, Eric. Yes, this place can be a huge enabler of our particular problem: GottaHaveNewSteelitis. A terrible malady.:grumpy:

These, lol. Especially the second one. Since first coming here at the start of the month I've found myself on here more and more reading stuff, and learning quite a bit at times too from it. I started off wanting a single knife, found two I really wanted after starting my thread on this forum asking for knife suggestions. After buying one, not only do I still want the other, but after falling in love with the one I did get, I'm now considering grabbing another of it as well in case anything ever happens to it. And thanks to this board, there's now a couple more I like and kind of want once I get that out of the way. T_T And that's just within my currently acceptable price range. I'm not even going to start past that. XD

Anyways, welcome to the forum! *Adds GottaHaveNewSteelitis to spell check, just because.*

You've got some nice looking knives there. So what's this problem you think you have? You didn't mention that.

Seems familiar.... got a ZT 0566 two weeks ago.... and a mini griptillian one month before... just yesterday ordered a Spyderco Chaparral and will buy an Emerson early next month

lol. I know exactly where yer comin from. I collect guns too but knives have really taken over in the last few years. Im waiting on a fallkniven nl4 and a Russell model10. Should be here soon! Knife it up brother!

Only five knives in your entire 'collection'? Yep, that's quite a problem.

"Five knives does not a collection make."

Fortunately it's an easy problem to solve.

Get out of BF now! They only encourage your addiction! And stay away from the Customs section! Nothing, and everything, good can come from those forums!

Ordered a Large Sebenza 25 and a Fallkniven NL4 Frej .....

help me.....

Looking at emerson and extrema ratio now.......Emerson is for sure, a cqc7 black tanto straight edge, humina humina humina

not sure where I'm going from there. I'd like to replace a BM940 I had to sell.

I'm sure everyone knows what you're going through! I the last two weeks I've ordered an xm18 slicer and put 2 knives on preorder with blade hq!

Welcome to the club!

One knife pretty much for forty-odd years, and have acquired 45 or so more in the past three. Craziness!

At least it's kept me out of the bars...no money! That's positive, right?

Right?

Yup I do see a problem you don't have any old school slip joints in there, that needs to be fixed ASAP. Oh and becareful your wallet may take a hit out on you if you keep this up.

And don't forget some sharpening stones, sooner or latter your funds will run dry and you end up not being able to buy a new knife every week and have to start sharpening them. And when you do, do you want to be using the dollar store special or a nice set of DMT Diamonds, waterstones, edgepro, etc.

Just try to keep your fiancials in order for your knife hobby, living on top ramen is bad for your health. Bad health = short life = less time to enjoy your knife collection :grumpy:.

HA!

Yes, a quality sharpening system is soon on the list, like i said, I'm thinking emerson and bm940, but somewhere in the next few knives, I'll have to get a good sharpening system.

I manage a restaurant so i do get to enjoy a bit more than ramen!

Its almost unfortunate, i got the pacific salt for edc, mainly at work which is great. The knife is made for hard wet environments. I just dont get to alternate my carry's as much.
