i think i did something wrong

hello i hope i am putting this thread in the right area my apologies if it isn't

I saw a thread about a new manufacture section under "what’s new" there were three threads.

One of the threads was for "Shadow tech" knives i posted that "that i was glad i found them and their website and that i had just ordered bought a knife from there site" i don’t think i said anything wrong, i hope i didn't.

I went to subscribe to the thread so that i could find it later and a little while later. i went back and a message came on the screen that said something about i cannot post in that thread or something to that affect.

now when I go back it only shows 2 threads instead of 3 and when I look in my profile to find the post i made it isn't there -- did i do something wrong?

Nope Eric, you didnt do anything wrong.
The thread was removed as it was free advertising for a non member.

thanks i didn't realize that - you guys are really good at this internet stuff i am still just finding my way around - i would have never known - most things i see at this site i figure are on the up n up ------ glad you all are on top of things

The threads removal doesnt necessarily mean that he's a bad seller....
Not enough feedback on him to tell either way.
It just means that he must have a paid membership to advertise.
