Hi, my name is Justin, and I am addicted to orange knives. Until now, my collection has been focused on Kershaw/ZT, but since they haven't released a new one in awhile, I have decided to come join you guys on the "other side". Quick pic of the newly started collection:

Nowhere near the 20+ orange Kershaws/ZTs I have, but it's a start! I am really digging all of them so far, but the PM2 is probably my favorite. Too bad most of the orange sprints are FRN. I know some people love it, but I personally cannot get past the cheap look and feel of the stuff. Are there any other orange G10 models out there I need to get my hands on? :cool:

Do you bleed orange? The XL is in very good company.

I have seen the dodo, but I just don't know what I would ever use that blade shape for. The fact that it is selling for more than I paid for any of the models I already have, other than the PM2, doesn't help. :o

Hey, SolidOrange! Great collection! I'm a rabid orange G10 fan myself, and have a similar collection (I've got the Dodo sprint, plus a Mule with Orange G10 scales I made for it). The XL custom is a really nice addition! Never seen one before.

We've been hearing rumors of an orange "Native 5 Slipit" for a couple of years now - and there are some prototype pics running around on British Blades. Keep your eyes out for that one if it is ever released.

Also, Sal says there is an upcoming "Firefly" model that will hit in 2013 potentially. It will be orange G10 with CF bolsters. Interesting...

I couldn't wait, and built some custom orange G10 scales for my Native 5 recently. Here's a pic:

glad to know that I am not the only one addicted to orange, and thanks for the info! i am not a big fan of the lockbacks, but i will probably still end up with that native whenever it is released. now i am off to hunt down some photos of the mythical firefly. :cool:

Wrap your hand around a Dodo and cut something with it just one time, and it will all make sense.
 
You should have one of these. Trust me the blade is useful, enough I carried one of mine for 6 months as a EDC.

Welcome solidorange, I've seen you around the Kershaw/ZT forum plenty. I don't have much in the way of orange knives, except my orange Military. Nice collection of Spydies you got going!
