I think I found the one

I really wasn't expecting to like it this much and judging by comments/reviews I was half expected to turn around and sell it, but curiosity got the better of me and I picked a LNIB up of the Bay. Boy was I pleasantly surprised when I got my Spyderco Perrin PPT. I usually carry knives with much longer blades, basically because long blade equals longer handle and longer handle fit my hand the best. What I like about the PPT is the curve of handle makes it fit my hand well and in turn, along with the low ride clip, makes it ride in the pocket well without impeding my hand when I reach in to get my keys from my pocket. The blade just being a bit over 3" is smaller all my other EDC by at least 1/2", but it seems to be plenty big to do whatever task my come up. One of the issue folks seem to have with it is the weight, put I like a heavier knife and the tank like build that come with it. I'm actually thinking of buying a second one and I've never really done that in a none collecting way before.

Congrats!

I'm still in the pursuit. The Sebenza has come very very close though.

Do you plan on doing a review? I've been thinking about getting one of those for my brother for his birthday. Being a lefty myself, I'd have a difficult time justifying buying one for me, but for my right handed brother it looks very nice. How beefy is the blade and framelock?

And, have I mentioned that I love your sig line? :)

And how about how that blade deploys? ;) The radius of the opening blade in relation to the position of the Spyder Hole allows the blade to fly open with nary a slight push. You build up minor tension and when it releases the blade is open already! Nice. And the Spyderco Taiwan F&F is world class.

Oh yeah, that too.

The F&F is impeccable, along with the lock up. Lock is beefy enough to take the work. The blade is good balance of heavy worker and smooth slicer.

Cynic2701-Glad you like the sig line. I probably will do a review of some sort, more then likely a video.
