Hey all. I went ahead and ordered a Tek Lok because I wanted a convenient way to carry my Izula. Problem is, I assumed a Mini Tek Lok would be just fine. I just received it this morning and it doesn't look like it can fit the standard Izula sheath at all. :(

Do any of you Izula owners use a Tek Lok for carry? If so, is it a Mini or a Large Tek Lok? Thanks.

Are you sure two screws won't fit? I don't have any in front of me but I thought it would work, you just can't adjust to very many angle choices.

I used a large one (I had it on another sheath I never use) and it worked great.

It was a little tricky to get the holes to line up right, but it worked.

Yea Bro, your toast.

You need a large tec-lok.

As was said though, you'll find a use for it.

The new large tec-loks are shweet though if it makes you feel any better.

I used a small one on my Izula rig. I used the female (internal threads) thru the slot in the Izula sheath, and the male (external threads) thru the tek-lok with no rubber spacers. Worked just fine. I'll see if I can dig up some pics.

I did have some longer Chicago screws laying around and I think that is what I used for the small tek-lok but I am not 100% positive.

Yep, same here! :D Thanks, Snakedoc.

BTW, I'm not sure how you could possibly fit the spacers in without longer screws. Is that an inherent design problem or just the thickness of the Izula sheath?

I would have gotten a larger Tek Lok but this one fits my belt perfectly. Again, if I need another one in the future it's only $15 or so. Thanks for the help everyone.

You're welcome!

Just the design of the Izula sheath. They are quit versitile and sturdy!!

Let me look. I may have a large that I'll trade out with you. Should just cost us both some minimal shipping.

Oops... just read the rest of the thread. Glad you got it figured out.

Does anyone have a pic of this setup on a belt or on your hip? I have very interested in seeing this setup!

***edit*** found pics in another thread!
