yup shes sharp alright..is that how you test to see if your knives are scalpel sharp??? heal fast sir...

Doc- I've done the exact same cut before, except it was my right thumb... :( Not fun at all.
Nice 710 redplague.

I've done that before as well. It sure isn't fun but I see it as a small price to pay. Heal fast, and enjoy that nice edge!

Cut myself last week while opening/closing a folder off hand when my phone rang and distracted me. Slap - right on my thumb. I superglued it (my first time trying it) and it worked great. Healed up in about 3 days and the glue just wore off. I highly recommend superglue.

That was my worst "she bit me"

But, like my uncle said.. "That's not sharp.... reattachment is sharp" :D

Yikes, is that your leg?! How did you manage that?
Your uncle is a wise man.

Yup, that is my right leg. My ankle is at the top.

I did that with a machete, don't know exactly how it happened, but I felt the snag and knew I cut myself. About 1.5" deep at the deepest (cut at an angle). I bandaged myself up, and drove myself to the hospital (35 minutes away). Found out I completely severed the nerve, barely missed the tendon, and it took 3 or 4 internal stitches and 10 external stitches to close it.

Oh well, it healed. Hurt like a sonofa** when I tried to get back into running and conditioning. Now I just have a Nike swoosh scar on my leg :D

A couple of minutes on a strop will get a carbon steel Mora VERY sharp, but you got to be careful with such a sharp knife!

You end up with a deep cut that bleeds for ages, but very clean and heals without a noticeable scar.

Question:
What must you always do before putting a band aid on a cut?
Answer:
Take a photo for the guys on the forum!

One of mine. I had a protech tr-3 in my pocket, tip up carry. My wife put her feet on my leg where it was clipped and apparently it opened. I slipped my thumb into my pocket to get my keys and *BITE*!

I remember my first one tho. I was about 13 and I bought a S&W S.W.A.T. and I didn't know how to test how sharp it was by going against the edge. So I slid my thumb down the length of the edge and got myself good.
