I never thought I would see the day I set aside me CRKT Large Mirage EDC, but Friday in a gun & knife store I found a Benchmade Ambush.

It was love at first touch. I favor large knives for EDC, but this thing is such a great combo of size and quality, yet still very light I flipped.

Anybody else used one of these??

p.s. I would like to give props' to Shooter's Supply in Cape G. MO., a great locally owned store, with a very curtious staff!

I have one and do enjoy it. I am thinking of looking around for the Mini-Ambush though for a better carry everywhere size.

I recently received a Benchmade 730 Elishewitz from a trade (it has worked its' way into replacing my Spyderco Native II as my "utility" EDC), and I too, am really impressed with the quality of Benchmade knives!

(I'm currently looking to trade for a Benchmade 701, and I have a feeling that it will become my new favorite "defensive/offensive" EDC once I get my hands on one.).

Even though the Benchmades are stronger and faster, I prefer my Native III. No more Benchmade in my pocket. That Native just cuts better for me.

:)

Benchmades are great...
Good quality tough folders...

I have a 721, 770 and a 556 and they're all superb knives...
and the customer service is TOPS...
Had a broken omega spring on my 721...angie said that i just needed to send it in and they'll even sort out the postage back to UK...

I feel like getting a bunch of mini grips to give to people or just put a couple in my tackle box...

Hey Last Confederate! I have had great experiences with Shooters gun shop too. I recently purchased a Surefire e2e there. I'll have to go by and check out the latest Benchmades!:)

Me and a buddy that's in the S.F. that just got back from Iraq were in there last Friday, only the second time I have been there, as I live over an hour away, but you would have thought we were regulars by the way we were treated. They have about the best Benchmade selection I have seen, plus some Lone Wolf Knives. I am still drooling over the Harsey Extreme Tactical Folder!!!!!!!!!!

If I only had 200+ bucks to spend right now!
