I think I have a problem with my Blink

I just came from the post office with my new SOG Blink that I waited a week for. I bought it for its reversible pocket clip, so I took out the screw and tried to put it on the other side. The clip doesn't fit in its hole when I try to put it in the left-hand side, but it fits fine on the right-hand side. Am I doing something wrong? I think the manual should elaborate a bit on how to flip the clip. Also, jesus christ, it's sharp. Whittled hair real easily.

I know this is not the same knife but the process is the same. Should be remove the one screw holding the clip on. Slide clip out and flip over to the other side. Insert screw on the opposite side from where it started. That should be all.
