Why do I have 3 of the standard 2011 models? Because one of the local big box stores is closing, and they had 3 left for 50% off, just could not pass them up. Might do some rehandling on 2 of them. I`ve even gone so far as to carry a list of the date codes in my wallet in case I run across more.

No worries. I don't think you have a problem or sickness just a healthy appreciation for knives. Just as long as your hobby/collection isn't negatively affecting any other aspect of your life, then enjoy yourself. No need to explain yourself to anyone.

:D

My best wishes go out to your granddaughter.

No, you're just a knife nut!

at least you've got a focus, some knife nut interests go so far and wide as to have them buying and selling all kinds of different knives like they had some sort fo fever...I am guilty of just such a thing :( :p

You are as bad as I am now ~~ as I now have 21 of the 112's with 11 of them now Engraved and 6 of them with Stag Handles and File-Work plus Sparkle added to them.! { is there a Dr. in the 'House'.?? }

Collecting 110's is better than doing crack. You could have worse problems. :D

I need to pick up one of these one day. Never used one.

If you had as many 110's as my wife has pairs of shoes, you might really have a problem........I am not even sure if they've made that many 110's! :)

What,no pics?Geez.
Just kidding,relax,enjoy the holidays.

The Buck 110 was the knife to have when I was a kid in high school.
It was my first grail come to think about it & I didn't get one till I joined the MC & had steady paychecks comin' in.
My favorite Buck though was a 500 I think it was,it had brown or maroon micarta scales & nickel bolsters.
I liked it because it was a little smaller so I could carry it in my pocket without dragging my britches down.(Little did I know that would be in style someday.:rolleyes:)

Yup,sick alright.

lol. you beat me to it. i was going to say, "Yup. You have a problem."...after seeing the "BUCK" pic. Great pic by the way, John.

i agree with Peter too...at least you have a focus to your collection. i like how you keep the date codes in your pocket. i used to be into collecting old baseball cards. the 1957 Topps set was my favorite. and, i did the same thing...i had a photocopied checklist that i kept handy.

nice collection John.
