IDK about you guys but I have a problem. Last night I've counted my BM collection....I was shock because just 6 months ago I started with 8 BM. Now I have 88 total.....I think I have lost control in my spending. I buy new, used and trade for BM.......and benchmade have THE best Lifesharp service ever.

I recently acquire a USED 710 first production BLACK, trading away my MT.

I am broke but happy.

Wow, can we get a pic? Your still good, just as long as you don't sell that bike in your avatar. Then I would get worried.

LOL +1

That's pretty impressive

If you start selling non-BM stuff to fuel the purchases you might need an intervention, until then you're good!

The two best purchases for me this year, would have to be the 940-121 & 530-1303. I'm pretty selective, an I've found what style knife suits me best.

Yep, that's how it goes at first for a true BM fan. You'll learn how to reign in the spending and just buy those knives that are standouts. You'll still spend a lot of money but you'll get more selective.

You're starting to worry me. Now the avatar pic has been changed. Did you sell your bike to fund more blades? This could get serious. :)

LOL

As stated in previous posts, being selective is key. Find a few designs in your collection that work well for you and maybe start collecting those models.

I wish someone would have told me just how selective I would become after years of saying "YES I'LL TAKE IT" (Sound familiar??) It could have saved me some big bucks, but as one of my only hobbies emotions usually won over logic. And then there was something about the chase. Now I own many and actually use only a select few, but its a good collection; now supplemented by limited's and prototypes. Will you slow down 'Estate'? Only time and patience will tell...good luck!

I'm curious how you started out with 8 Benchmades. I had to start with one. Did you get a package deal or something?

I first started with Kershaw...then Spyderco. My first 2 Benchmade 580 & 553 was what made me loving the Axis... 6 months ago I had 8 BM....I actually started with only two few months prior.
