Okay, so I'll start from the beginning... I am a 56 year old man that is drawn to collecting all sorts of objects. Being that my collection is so eclectic, I decided to self title it as being my "Interesting Objects Collection".
Anyhow, there are a few guys at my job that have an appreciation for knives, and since my most collected items are knives, we have that mutual interest that we often chit chat about.
Well, one of the younger fellas there, (in his early 20's), had gone to a little local knife show last summer that I too was at, and we ran into each other. We spoke for a bit and showed each other the knives we had each purchased while there at the show.
Mine happened to be a NIB Western W49, (a specimen made by Camillus after they purchased the Western Cutlery name brand).
The other day we were talking at work about some knives, and he asked me about my Western W49, and how I chose to display it.
I told him that I'd send him a photo via text message, which I did later after I got home from work.
He responded by saying how much he liked the way it was displayed, and then he proceeded to ask about the little knife underneath it.
I told him that it was a Russian made 'Kizlyar' of Dagestan model 'Mole'.
He then went on to say how "cool" he thought it was.
Well, he didn't know that I actually owned a duplicate of that Kizlyar knife, so... When I went into work today, I brought him in that duplicate and gifted it to him. He was pretty surprised, and a big smile developed upon his face that could not be faked.
The first photo below is the picture I had texted to him, which is how he had noticed the Kizlyar 'Mole' knife.
The second photo is just a stock photo from a vendor's sight showing the same knife.

Yup, I like to share a knife every now and again, and this was one of those times.
Made the guy's day, and of course I felt good as well about gifting it to him
