I've been felling a little sick to my stomach, I wrote it off as some bad meatloaf or just a virus, then I began running a fever and chillin' so I happily laid out of school and when I started feeling better I took small hike to get some fresh air. Later today there was a 5K and I've been itching to beat my JROTC instructor (20 years AF, Ret. MSGT., he's ran a few marathons so he's in great shape) Well I decided despite being a little sick to my stomach I would show up and run it to see how I would fare. Well I felt good during the 5K and shortly after it, but it sure hit me on the way home. A sudden urge to :barf: got me sticking my head out the window to avoid getting any in my truck while driving, it was in a 25 so now worries about loosing control, :grumpy: of course not all of it missed my door. Once I got home I started running a little bit of a fever again, then a few minutes I got a nice surprise headache and I know the headache is not from dehydration, I haven't ate but a sandwich today and a few small snacks, but I made sure I've drank plenty.

DONT LIE!!!! We all know what you were really doing...

Get to the doctor HW!!!

I'll sleep on it, still got a fever, head ache is going away thanks to Tylenol, stomach still feels unsettled but for the first time in a few hours I've managed to keep some food down. If I still feel bad in the morning I'll let my sister (RN at the local ER) bring me a flu swab.

Plain saltines and maybe some room temp flat 7up is good for an upset stomach I've always found. Lots of rest, fluids and keep up on the Tylenol too since it'll help the fever and headache.

Hope you feel better.

Hey Kiddo,

I hope you feel better as well... lots of folks in my area have the same as you, but I can say for sure, not one of them is out trying to run.... :/ I strongly suggest you get some rest, let your body heal itself, and cut out the late night co-ed naked paintball for a bit..

Get well!
