I think I may have a problem...

It all started this winter with the obligatory 110 (to replace a damaged '96 from my childhood), and then it only made sense to purchase the 119 I desired so much as a wee lad. But from there on... Well, it's all just a blur...

Nobody warned me they multiplied! ;)

The more you learn about all the different knives and variations the worse the sickness gets.

Nice start to your addiction.

Yes, it's all a blur. But fine choices so far. Yes, the 112 is a logical next step. That makes perfect sense to me.

It's called Buck Fever. If you like the traditional knives, don't forget to add a few from the 300 Series.

Boy, are you in trouble! Just in 119's alone there are many variations. Right now you can get one in 5160 and maybe S30V. There have been stag, leather, and other models. Then you can collect 110's. Right now you can get 420HC, 154CM, D2, and S30V. There have been BG42, 440C, 425M and many other steels. I notice you do not have a 120. You NEED a 120.

If you stick with standard models, you could have less of a problem, not to say that you have a problem 😁
Your definitely missing the 120 general and maybe a few others in the series ( black and aluminum handles )

And if you're going to get a 120 you might as well get a 102 - the baby 119.

See, I've had a 120 and a 124, but ended up selling both to help fund some gear I needed for SAR. When I had them, I found out I prefer the 119 over the 120, and the handle of the 124 was too square for my hand.

With that said, I think I might be going after a 301 soon...

Me too pal. My next is definitely a fixed blade Buck as I scored the Alpha folding Hunter and the CSAR Responder. Am a hunter and one of dem Bucks with the phenolic black handles should keep me happy for another month or so!! Started fresh and gave away any inferior junk I had. More important to have quality than quantity. Thanks for showing some great examples.

Hurry,,,
Look up your local chapter of Buck Anon!!!!

Here's a picture I threw together quickly. This is what I had in my sock drawer next to my bed. I've had cause for one reason or another to inspect or fondle these knives in the last couple of months but have not placed them back in their proper storage place. As a rule I do not gather knives in quantity and make a pile of knives placed out in the open. Explaining to my wife why I needed a particular knife that looks just like "that one over there" is never fun.

I try not to ask her about what's hanging in her closet or how many pair of shoes she has and for the most part she doesn't ask about my fishing gear or knives. I was quick to snap this photo and cleaned them up even quicker.

Very impressive fellas...

Christiantrevor....remember it's always easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission. I keep telling myself that and maybe one day it'll be true. They're both hard

Ha! Yes, my wife does not understand why I need all of those knives. But, there is no way she can explain why she needs so many purses, shoes, and most of the closets and drawers full of clothing she never (or rarely) wears. I get by with only a few clothes but I must have knives.

OP, you need a 120 and a 102. The 102 is probably the most practical fixed blade knife made by anyone. The 120 is just right for a large knife.
