Just kidding, I found this one in the back of a kitchen cabinet! We got this when Angie first started driving, 20 years ago, for her to carry in case of an emergency. These things sure have progressed!

Haha! Awesome. The Smithsonian might want that beauty. I worked in wireless sales for 6yrs. Things changed a LOT over that time frame.

I've got one just like it! As a matter of fact, I still have ALL of my old phones in a box in the basement. My first "car" phone was an AT & T from 1984 that looks like a desk phone on a stick.

Ooo,a flip phone, that is like sooo cool duuude.
I remember when those were the next best thing in cells.

Here's my phone.I've had it for about 9 years now & it's still going strong.
I don't need (nor want) no stinking smart phone.;)

I can`t have a smart phone, it would be too smart for me! I have a simple phone, no texting or anything.

You guys are crazy! Everyone needs a smart phone...the cell phone companies tell you so...therefore it must be true! Haha!

One of my zaniest stories from working in that industry was when a young gal came in bawling because her Facebook app wasn't providing updates. I couldn't even help her, I was too busy choking back laughter at how ridiculous that was.

Somewhere around here, I used to have a bag phone. Imagine how cool I looked carrying that around on the job site, LOL!

LMAO!

If you gave me one of those nowadays, I'd look at you politely and say...

Now what the heck am I s'posed to do with this?

Mine is capable of texting, but I'm not!
I'll probably get a Jitterbug when mine dies.(which will probably be soon now that I've said nice things about it)

I had that same phone. After that one I had a Star Tac. It was so much smaller and actually fit in your pocket. I am such a tech junkie that if I leave my iPhone at home, I have to drop everything and go get it. Sad, I know.

Amish cell phone!!

I was driving a limo back in the early 90s, the owner of the company had a bag phone. If you remember those, they were a phone in a briefcase - the first gen mobile phones.

Things have come a long way - my wife Maggie's phone has a better camera (almost) than my Camera!!

best
