Are you doing demo work or tearing into things that don't need to look as good after as they did before? If so, you'll definitely find uses for it.

Never found a use for the one I had. Chopped a bit with it, but it's no niner.

I have one, and keep it near the fireplace at the cabin for splitting kindling. It's basically a Becker froe.

IMHO the BK3 is not going to be your best knife for knife jobs. It is however a super blade for using and abusing around camp, farm, and home. The BK3 shrugs off abuse that would destroy most other blades. I use mine for breaking down firewood and even digging the occasional cat hole.

Thanks for the replies gents. I just moved somewhere rural and figured the BK3 would serve well in a few roles around the property.

Yes sir. Grab one, I’m assuming you have some cars to cut up on the property??! Also, maybe it’s just me, but single bevel edges can be slightly adventurous when chopping.
